What is Mindfulness?

Do you feel that time flies? That the years have been passing even faster? That you are continually working but have not yet achieved what you set out to achieve?

What is Mindfulness?

This feeling of time flying indicates a lack of attention and being present in every moment of your life. It is also a sign that you may not be living your life the way you want or exploring your full potential.

Do you know that feeling of doing several things at the same time? No? Never watched TV while checking your phone?

Simultaneous actions (multi-tasking) may make you feel that you are saving time, but in fact, you are not performing either action to your full capacity and may end up wasting time.
The result: more time and energy spent and poor performance.

It may seem like a simple thing, but these small actions generate a lot of stress, difficulty in learning, among countless other problems.

Here is where Mindfulness techniques can help you. Training Mindfulness techniques will help you concentrate, to be more attentive and focused in every moment, and to be present and aware of everything you do.

Mindfulness is a skill set that can you can learn, and through constant training, it is possible to achieve sustainable behavior change. It is the ability to stay focused on the task at hand, increasing awareness of thoughts, feelings, habits, and actions.

According to the Neuroscientist, Renata Coura PhD., about 96% to 98% of our daily actions are done automatically, which means that only 2% to 4% of what we do are conscious actions.

Breaking this pattern requires us to give different stimuli to our brain and exercise it just like we do with our bodies.

There are some simple exercises to start your Mindfulness training. These include breathing techniques, relaxation, and meditation. These techniques will begin to increase your mental clarity and help you understand your emotions and how they influence your perception of reality. Such understanding will allow you to make better choices on a daily basis and improve your habits, professional performance, and well-being.

By rethinking choices and defining your limits, you can feel your best and perform to your fullest potential every day.

Body intelligence enhances your well being and response to life

Body intelligence is perceiving and harnessing bodily information in pursuit of improving your well being and performance, health, mood, and overall response to life. With the rise of technology, it’s become easy to rely upon machines to inform us about the status of our health, well being, and performance. This isn’t a problem until it leads us to discount our built-in ability to perceive when something isn’t right. Upgrading your body intelligence is an extremely efficient way to elevate your overall well being and performance.
